The LNG America management team is led by Keith Meyer, a senior executive with thirty-five years’ experience in the global energy industry, which includes 15 years in the global LNG arena, senior management positions in Fortune 500 Corporations and fast growing small companies, and assembling and managing multi-disciplined teams to successfully develop large scale energy infrastructure projects, including LNG receiving terminals, natural gas pipelines, storage projects, power plants, gas liquids plants, and gas separation projects spanning four continents.

Mr. Meyer served as Chairman of the Board of Flex LNG, a public company developing floating liquefied natural gas production facilities and was president of Cheniere LNG when that company developed North America’s largest LNG import terminal. Previously, Mr. Meyer joined CMS Energy to grow their non-utility gas transmission business and led the domestic and international pipeline and gas storage development efforts while assisting with their power plant development activities.  CMS Energy acquired the Panhandle Eastern companies which included one of the nation’s largest interstate pipeline systems and the Trunkline LNG receipt terminal at Lake Charles; Mr. Meyer moved to Houston to oversee the marketing, supply, business development, and LNG activities for the Panhandle/Trunkline enterprise.  Additional activities include acting as commercial lead on the team that assisted the Government of Israel in the analysis and preparation of bid documents for their LNG import terminal.

Mr. Meyer is an MBA graduate of Rice University and has served as guest lecturer for Duke University, Louisiana State University, the University of Houston, and has been a course instructor for Rice University’s Energy Management Certificate program.
